The Chef’s Inspiration
Born in Manresa, Barcelona, Albert is the fourth generation chef in his family. Albert earned his 5-year degree of Chef and Maitre’De in Cal Aligue in Manresa, where he learned contemporary food with traditional Spanish roots. fterwards, he worked in several 1 to 3 star Michelin Restaurants such as Llucanes, St. Pau, he also worked on events with
Ferran Adria in 3 star Micheline Restaurant El Bulli.
In year 2003, Albert arrived in Shanghai. After opening several Spanish restaurants and working as gastronomic consultant in various restaurants, Albert became one of La Verbena’s pillars and foundation.
